How do I chloride my silver wire?

There are 2 direct methods you can use to chloride your electrodes:

(1) Place the electrode in Clorox bleach for 10-15 minutes.

(2) Pass a 1 mA current through the electrode in KCl. Use a 9V battery and a 1 kΩ resistor in series with the electrode.

Method 1 is simple and can be used every day. Method 2 requires a little more effort but does a better job.
